Opens at 6:00 a.m. One of the best spots for breakfast

Since few cafés or restaurants are open in the morning, MOMOMOMO stands out as one of the best choices for breakfast. Opening at 6:00 a.m., they offer a satisfying breakfast set for 950 yen, featuring toasted bread, salad, carrot juice, a boiled egg, and a drink of your choice. Beverage options include various types of coffee, tea, herbal tea, orange juice, peach juice, seasonal juice, and cream soda.
Some lunch, sweets, and beer sets are available.

For lunch, they serve curry rice sets that include salad, carrot juice, a boiled egg, and a drink, all for 1,500 yen (tax included). A half-size portion is available for 1,200 yen.
For a local specialty, try the Kanshanba Set. Kanshanba is a traditional Japanese sweet from Izu Oshima—a kusa mochi (mugwort rice cake) filled with generous amounts of red bean paste. While it is usually wrapped in oak leaves, on Oshima Island it is wrapped in sankirai (Smilax china) leaves. The set includes a drink of your choice and costs 800 yen.
MOMOMOMO also offers a Pound Cake Set for 1,200 yen, featuring three slices of pound cake in different flavors: bitter orange, chocolate, and Gojinka lemon—a locally grown lemon from Oshima Island. The Gojinka lemon cake is available only in winter and spring, while other seasonal flavors are offered throughout the year.

All drinks are 600 yen. If it’s your holiday—fantastic! Enjoy a beer and some snacks for just 1,100 yen. A second beer is available for 850 yen. Relax and unwind at MOMOMOMO, where you can relieve stress and fatigue while taking in the excellent view in a calm and chilled environment.
The Owner’s Captivating Collection Displayed by the Window

The owner, a professional artist born on Oshima Island, has a unique collection displayed by the window. Among the intriguing pieces are the Anko Doll, carved from Izu Oshima wood in a single stroke, and a painting of island women wearing traditional navy-blue kimonos with tight sleeves and towels wrapped around their heads.
His artistic sensibility extends to music as well. MOMOMOMO’s carefully curated record collection enhances the café’s nostalgic atmosphere. Browse the selection, find your favorite, and let the soothing melodies transport you back in time.
Visit MOMOMOMO more than twice, and you’ll receive a special tote bag featuring an original illustration by the owner. Enjoy the charm of being a regular, and make this cozy café a memorable part of your Oshima experience!
